Too busy
I know I haven't been blogging regularly. To my handful of readers out there I am sorry. I hope things get back to normal after The Nutcracker is over. Just a few more weeks and this whirlwind will be over and then I can stress out about something else, like Christmas lol. Till then don't give up on me, I'm still here.

Feeling better
Living in cotton country we have a yearly battle of the sinus and crud. This year has been the worst in several years. Starting last week I've had a sore throat, cough, sinus congestion and just felt yucky. It even lead to us missing a day of dance and swim last week, which is unheard of in this house. But, I just felt so terrible I had to take a day and rest. With all this Nutcracker rehearsal there isn't much time to rest. We will dance 7 days this week. And TT has a swim meet this Sat. Thank goodness my hubby will be here to help carry the load.
On a good note I did feel somewhat better to go out on a date with my hubby for our 14th wedding anniversary. We wanted to go away for the night but the kids schedules would not allow for it, but we had fun anyway. Hopefully we can take a short trip for Valentines. Right now it's all about flipping, swimming and school. Oh, and now I have to start Christmas shopping. Geez, when does the list ever end?

Happy Anniversary....
to me! Today my hubby and I celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary. I still have a hard time believing we've been married that long. But, we have and so we must celebrate it. The only problem is he is off somewhere working and here I sit at home. Until a few years ago we never spent an anniversary, birthday or any other holiday or milestone alone, but then one of us has to work. The best part is he will be coming home in a day or two and then we can go out and celebrate, even if it is a day or two late:)
