why is it so darn hard find a great pair of jeans??? I mean honestly, I spent 5 hours Saturday looking for a normal pair of dark wash jeans that looked decent on me. Last year all I could find were the skinny jeans. The name is very misleading. They do nothing to make you look skinny. If however you are not the size of a toothpick your body ends up resembling an upside down pear.
Saturday I was only lucky enough to find one pair of jeans in my price range that were not either skinny nor the ever popular flare style. The Flare style is even more unappealing than the skinny jean. It sucks to your rear end, down to your knees then it "flares" out, hence the name, at the bottom. Some of the jeans flare so much that you don't even have to worry about what shoes you are wearing because no one will be able to see them.
I know I could have waltzed into The Buckle and easily picked out several pairs of $90+ jeans that would have fit perfectly, but not on my current budget. So off I went to the other stores in search of the elusive "perfect pair of jeans". I have to say I am happy with the pair I found at American Eagle. I was even happier to find I could wear a size smaller than I thought. Still, I just can't believe how hard it is for a normal person to go out and find a pair of jeans. I'll step down off my soap box now:)
