A Lazy Day

That is what this day turned out to be. We really didn't do "school". TT fixed some of his mistakes from yesterday, and is reviewing for some tests tomorrow. Poogie and I just finished her reading lesson and read a new story. That is about all we will officially do today. I guess we are a little stir crazy. It is so hot outside and we feel trapped inside. This is a small house to be all closed up in for days on end.

We have been enjoying a new series of videos from the library. I have been interested the Janette Oke series starting with Love Comes Softly. We have watched the first two and have really enjoyed them. They are good family movies and very clean, which is hard to find sometimes. Even my husband likes them. I will return the second one tomorrow and check out the third. I highly recommend them.

Tomorrow we are making two mummies, one from a plastic mummy kit and the other out of an apple. I will let you know how it goes.

I went to the movies to see Becoming Jane Sunday. My husband took me and sat through another British movie. I loved it. It really showed how Jane wrote using her own experiences. I brought a whole new meaning to Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice.
